How to merge PDF files

  1. 01

    Add your PDFs

Choose several documents at once, or add more later. Every page appears as its own card with a preview.

  2. 02

    Arrange the pages

Select pages, then move them earlier or later, rotate them by 90° or delete them. Pages from different files can be mixed.

  3. 03

    Merge and download

The merged file follows the page order and rotation on screen and downloads as merged.pdf.

Page-level control, not just file order

Most merge tools only let you sort whole files. Here each page of every document is a separate item, so you can put page 3 of one file between two pages of another, drop a blank page, or turn a scanned page the right way up in the same step.

Nothing is written while you rearrange. The new document is built once, when you press Merge, following the exact order you left on screen.

What stays the same

  • Pages are copied, not rasterised: text stays selectable and images keep their original quality.
  • Page size, crop boxes and annotations travel with each page.
  • Each source document is read once, so fonts and images shared by its pages are not duplicated in the result.
  • Your original files are never modified.

Frequently asked questions

Can I merge only some pages of a PDF?

Yes. Add the file, select the pages you do not want and delete them. Only the pages left in the workspace end up in the merged document.

Does merging reduce the quality of my PDF?

No. Pages are copied structurally rather than turned into images, so text, vector graphics and embedded images are unchanged.

What happens with password-protected PDFs?

An encrypted PDF is reported as encrypted and left out. The tool never tries to bypass a password, so unlock the file in your PDF reader first. The other documents still load.

Will a digital signature still be valid after merging?

No. A merged file is a new document, so signatures from the original files no longer validate. Keep the signed originals if you need to prove the signature.

Is there a limit on the number of files or pages?

There is no artificial limit. Everything is processed in your browser, so very large documents are limited by the memory available on your device.
