Five useful audio tools

  • Convert MP3 to uncompressed 16-bit PCM WAV for playback and editing. Keep the source sample rate and channels, or choose your own.
  • Turn WAV recordings into MP3 files at 128, 192, 256 or 320 kbps. The default is 192 kbps, with source sample rate and channels retained where MP3 supports them.
  • Extract the first audio track from an MP4 video and encode it as MP3 at 128, 192, 256 or 320 kbps. The video is excluded.
  • Trim one MP3 or WAV file using an audio player, range controls and times in seconds. MP3 stays MP3; WAV stays WAV.
  • Reduce MP3 and WAV file sizes by re-encoding as MP3. Choose Small (96 kbps), Balanced (128 kbps) or High quality (192 kbps).
