How to convert JPG to PDF

    Select JPG or PNG files. They are placed in the order you added them.

    Choose page size and quality

    Fit to image, A4 or US Letter, automatic, portrait or landscape orientation, and image quality.

    Create and download

    All images end up in one file named images.pdf.

Page size and placement

  • Fit to image makes each page exactly the size of its picture, at 96 pixels per inch: a 1200 × 800 px photo becomes a 12.5 × 8.3 inch page.
  • A4 (210 × 297 mm) and US Letter (8.5 × 11 in) place the image centred on the page with its aspect ratio intact. Images are never cropped or stretched.
  • Automatic orientation turns an A4 or Letter page to landscape for wide images and keeps it portrait for tall ones.

Image quality

At 100% quality, JPEG files are embedded byte for byte, so the PDF contains exactly the original photo. Below 100%, JPEGs are re-encoded at that quality to make the PDF smaller.

PNG images are always embedded losslessly, including transparency. The quality setting does not apply to them.

Which image formats can I use?

JPG and PNG. The format is checked from the file contents rather than the extension. To use a WebP image, convert it with WebP to PNG first.

Will my photos lose quality in the PDF?

Not at 100% quality: JPEGs are then embedded without re-compression. Lower the quality only if you need a smaller file.

Can I change the order of the pages?

Pages follow the order in which you selected the images. To reorder afterwards, open the PDF in Merge PDF and move the pages there.

Can I make one PDF page per image at A4 size?

Yes. Choose A4 as the page size. Each image is scaled to fit inside the page and centred.
