How to create a QR code

Website URL, Plain text or Email address.

Static codes that do not expire
Your content is encoded directly into the QR code. There is no short link or redirect service in between, so the code keeps working as long as the destination does, cannot be switched off later, and scans are not tracked by us.
The flip side is that a static code cannot be edited after printing. To change the destination, create a new code.
Settings
- Website URL must be a complete address including the scheme, such as https://example.com.
- Email address creates a mailto: code that opens a new email.
- Error correction: higher levels survive more damage or dirt but make the pattern denser.
- Each module is drawn as whole pixels with a four-module quiet zone, so the black-and-white PNG stays crisp.

Frequently asked questions
Do these QR codes expire?
No. They are static codes with the content inside the code itself, so there is no service that could stop working.
Which size should I download?
512 px is enough for screens and most documents. Choose 1024 px for large prints or when the code will be scaled up.
Which error correction level should I use?
Medium suits most uses. Choose High for codes printed on surfaces that may get scratched. Long content with high error correction can become too dense at small sizes.
Can I add a logo or colours?
No. The generator creates standard black-and-white codes, which scan most reliably.
Does the generator visit my URL?
No. The URL is only checked for a valid format and encoded; it is never opened or requested.
